Now the grocery store has a new Apple that is likely to please the palate's most beloved: Cameo. Apples are a gourmet variety noted for their thin skin. Preparation time: 5 minutes, refrigeration time: 1/2 hour

Ingredients: 2 cups cameo apples, 1/2 cup red onion, 1 large anime pepper, finely chopped 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (optional) 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tbsp. Chopped fresh cilantro 1/4 teaspoon. Salt 1/2 teaspoon.

Method of preparation: Fresh ground black pepper Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
